Our Coffee

We take pride in our coffee, and roast our beans to provide with a cup like none other. We search for the best greens, ones with flavor profiles you may not expect, and rigorously test our roasts to perfection.

All of our beans are 100% air roasted. Also called fluid-bed roasting, this process uses hot air rather than a hot metal drum to roast the beans. Think of it like air popping popcorn, where the kernels are able to cook evenly as the air distributes them. This roasting method is precise, which leads to a more consistent roast and a smoother, less acidic cup of coffee.

Roasting happens at least twice a week to ensure freshness for our subscribers and customers in our drink lab, and we test (aka drink) lots of our own coffee to keep it up to our standards.
